Here’s the decision fork most owners eventually hit: keep paying for a chew that’s hard to measure, or stop and see what happens. Stopping is the more honest experiment, and it’s also the scarier one, because nobody wants to find out their senior dog was quietly relying on something.
What a longevity supplement is actually doing while it’s working

I don’t think every longevity supplement is worth the hype, and I don’t think every one is worthless — the honest answer depends on named actives and real doses, not the packaging. If a product is NASC-listed, states its doses per serving, and you’ve seen a plausible, non-dramatic improvement in energy or coat over a few months, there’s little downside to continuing it as part of a broader plan that already includes protein, weight management, and a vet-checked mobility routine.
